Surgical Techniques Development was launched in 2011 and has been focused on progressive surgical techniques and advanced technologies, such as laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy, robotics, and plastic surgery [1].
Surgical Techniques Development was previously published by PAGEPress and will be published by MDPI as of 24 January 2022 [2].
Dr. Egidio Riggio from the Plastic Surgery Unit, National Cancer Institute of Milan (INT), Italy, who has served as Editor-in-Chief of Surgical Techniques Development, along with 25 Editorial Board Members have kindly agreed to continue to serve in their roles [3].
We are delighted to take over the publication of Surgical Techniques Development to continue with the legacy of this journal and to continue providing the best service to the scientific community of surgeons worldwide.
As of 2022, Surgical Techniques Development will adopt a quarterly publication schedule.
We are excited to welcome the Surgical Techniques Developments Editorial Board to MDPI. We look forward to publishing your work in our journal!
