- Granular IgA and C3 deposits were found along the basement membrane of buccal mucosa epithelium in most of the subjects.
- IgA and C3 deposits detected with DIF in the oral mucosa specimens may be a supplementary assay in DH diagnosis.
- IgG and IgM deposits were not present in buccal mucosa bioptats in DH subjects.
