Trifimov and coworkers present the synthesis and characterisation of the important molecule 1-phenyl-3,3-di(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)propan-1-one. The importance of the molecule is clearly communicated with good explanation of the synthesis method and corresponding characterisation data. All in all, the paper represents an important contribution which I would recommend for publication after the following minor point is addressed.

1) The content of reference 10, shown in section 2, seems to not match the text that accompanies it. Please consider the position of reference 10 in the text to best reflect its contents and relevance.

Section 2. results and discussion, first sentence, Reference10 is SHELX crystallographic program (also cited and materials and methods as SHELX program), but it should be reference 12 (which is cited in experimental)

Solved X-ray structure of the title compound should be moved to the manuscript, and given as a Figure within Section 2.
