Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript by Keung et.al titled " Fourier-Transform Infra-Red Microspectroscopy Can Accurately Diagnose Colitis and Assess Severity of Inflammation" is very well written and data supported by the literature search, methodology, results, coming from relevant case studies.

Fourier-Transform Infra-Red Microspectroscopy is of utmost importance to the readers working in this clinical diagnosis.

Fourier-Transform Infra-Red Microspectroscopy is very significant in diagnosing cancers, colitis, IBD, other pathological and neurological diseases without modifying the patient sample and is less time-consuming than the traditional histological methods.
