Abstract
In this study, first, we introduce Ćirić–Prešić type contraction in F-metric spaces and prove a fixed point theorem for self mappings. We apply the fixed point results for a second-order differential equation. Therefore, we define Prešić type almost contraction and F-contraction, [...] Read more.
In this study, first, we introduce Ćirić–Prešić type contraction in F-metric spaces and prove a fixed point theorem for self mappings. We apply the fixed point results for a second-order differential equation. Therefore, we define Prešić type almost contraction and F-contraction, and we prove some fixed point theorems. In the last section, we prove the best proximity point theorems for Ćirić–Prešić type proximal contraction in F-metric spaces. Our results generalize the existing results in the literature. Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a new generalized concept, namely, extended interpolative Cirić–Reich–Rus-type F-contraction in b-metric space. In addition, we put forward the notion of interpolative Kannan-type F-contractions. Fixed point results for these new interpolative contraction mappings are established, and [...] Read more.
In this paper, we introduce a new generalized concept, namely, extended interpolative Cirić–Reich–Rus-type F-contraction in b-metric space. In addition, we put forward the notion of interpolative Kannan-type F-contractions. Fixed point results for these new interpolative contraction mappings are established, and non-trivial examples involving finite and infinite sets are provided to validate the results. Full article

Abstract
In this manuscript we discuss, consider, generalize, improve and unify several recent results for so-called F-contraction-type mappings in the framework of complete metric spaces. We also introduce ( φ , F ) -weak contraction and establish the corresponding fixed point result. Using [...] Read more.
In this manuscript we discuss, consider, generalize, improve and unify several recent results for so-called F-contraction-type mappings in the framework of complete metric spaces. We also introduce ( φ , F ) -weak contraction and establish the corresponding fixed point result. Using our new approach for the proof that a Picard sequence is a Cauchy in metric space, our obtained results complement and enrich several methods in the existing literature. At the end we give one open question for F-contraction of Ćirić-type mapping. Full article

In this paper, we introduce the Ćirić type generalized F-contraction and establish certain common fixed point results for such F-contraction in metric spaces with the w-distances. In addition, we give some examples to support our results. Finally, we apply our results to show the existence of solutions of the second order differential equation. Full article
