Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, we are pleased to announce the winner of the 2019 Humanities Travel Award, which has been granted to the following:

Amanda Joyce Hall, a Ph.D. Candidate from Yale University, will attend the Fourth Annual Conference of the African American Intellectual History Society, March 22–23, 2019, in Ann Arbor, MI, USA, to present her paper with the following title: “Black Internationalist Solidarity and the Movements against South African Apartheid in the Pacific”.

With such high-quality applications for the awards, this was a difficult decision, and we would like to thank all applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. We congratulate the winner for her accomplishments.
