About Entomology
Aims
Entomology is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal of insect science, published semiannually online by MDPI. The main focus of the Entomology journal is fundamental entomology, with emphasis on insect systematics; phylogeny and evolution; paleoentomology; and technical entomology. The journal also covers fundamental research on arthropods, such as arachnids, myriapods and crustaceans.
We also expect submissions that can overlap with a cross-section of topics as diverse as molecular genetics; behavior; neuroscience; biomechanics; biochemistry; systematics; physiology; developmental biology; ecology; and paleontology.
Scope
The scope of this journal includes, but is not limited to:
- Insect morphology, biology, ethology, taxonomy, physiology, ecology, etc.
- Insect systematics
- Phylogeny and evolution of insects
- Paleoentomology
- Technical entomology
- The study of arthropods (arachnids, myriapods and crustaceans)
