The conference, organized by the Italian Chemical Society (SCI Giovani and SCI Puglia), the University of Bari Aldo Moro, and the Polytechnic of Bari, will be held in Bari, Italy, from 19 to 20 December 2024, at the video conference room of the Polytechnic of Bari.
This is a national conference, structured over two days, in which Ph.D. students, grant holders and researchers from academia, research institutions and industry will present the most relevant and cutting-edge discoveries in the fields of energy, health, circular economy, green chemistry, food, cultural heritage and ecological transition. This year, the invited speakers will include Prof. Stephen Hilton, Associate Professor at the UCL School of Pharmacy, and Dr. Luisa De Marco, Italian researcher at the Institute of Nanotechnology of the CNR, recently awarded by the European Research Council (ERC) with a prestigious Consolidator Grant. In addition, Dr. Federico Berretta, an archivist who deals mainly with archives relating to chemistry and chemists from 1800 to the present day, will be hosted as a Guest Speaker.
