Journal of Clinical Medicine 2023 Young Investigator Award—Winner Announced

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the JCM 2023 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Jasper Iske.
Dr. Jasper Iske has been working in the field of heart transplantation at the department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, German Heart Center of Charité Berlin, Germany. Dr. Iske has an outstanding publication record and has made significant scientific contributions to transplant-related topics including the age-specific effects on ischemia reperfusion injury, alloimmune responses as they relate to organ age, and age-adapted immunosuppression. His publication record is remarkable, with 16 (co-)first authorships to his name, an exceptional output for his age. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive academic environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Iske on his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Dr. Jasper Iske will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, a chance to publish a paper free of charge in Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM, ISSN: 2077-0383) before 31 December 2024, after peer review, and an electronic certificate.
