Forests Receives First Impact Factor, Highest Ranked Open Access Forestry Journal

We are pleased to report the first Impact Factor for Forests for 2012. According to the newly released 2012 Journal Citation Reports® Science Edition (Thomson Reuters, 2013), the Impact Factor for Forests is 1.094. Forests enters the ranking in the category 'Forestry' placed 25 out of 60 (Q2). It is the highest ranking open access journal in this category.
