Prof. Dr. Andreas Sumper Appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Electricity

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Andreas Sumper has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Electricity (ISSN 2673-4826).

Dr. Andreas Sumper is a professor at the CITCEA-UPC, Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain. Andreas Sumper completed his PhD studies at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain, in 2008. In 2002, Prof. Dr. Andreas Sumper joined the Centre d’Innovació Tecnològica en Convertidors Estàtics i Accionaments (CITCEA-UPC) in Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain and was promoted as a Full Professor in 2019.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Sumper has been actively involved in power systems and electrical science. He
is the author of over 150 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals. His co-authored books Energy Storage in Power Systems and Electrical Energy Efficiency: Technologies and Applications were released in 2016 and 2012, respectively.
