Round 1

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsDear author
Thank you for the manuscript sent I think that for this work to be published it requires an extensive review. The known data is present but is presented in a descriptive way, there is no way to obtain any meaningful learning
I think that, given the small number of cases described worldwide, the knowledge acquired could be grouped, for example, frequent symptoms, epidemiology, any common data or warning that anticipates the risk of liver abscess? diagnostic methodology? therapy? (example, what is the guidance for antibiotic therapy?) I made small comments in the text and some of the references seem to be incomplete.
Many regards

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe manuscript provides a comprehensive review of the literature on Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) related hepatic abscesses (HA). This is a well-written and structured manuscript that addresses an important and under-researched topic. The authors have performed a thorough literature search and presented their findings in a clear and concise manner.
In the Introduction section, it would be helpful to include a brief discussion on the pathophysiology of CDI leading to HA to set the stage for the review.
The authors should discuss the limitations of their review more explicitly, such as potential publication bias and the limited number of cases available for review.
It would also be beneficial to include suggestions for future research to address the identified gaps in knowledge.
Comments on the Quality of English Language
The manuscript is well-written with minimal grammatical or typographical errors. The formatting is consistent and professional.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors1. The abstract needs to be refined to highlight the concluding significance of this study.
2. What are the discrepancies in the etiology and treatment of CDI-related HA?
3. In this line, empirical coverage generally includes gram-negative bacilli, gram-positive cocci, and anaerobes. The duration of treatment varies. Specify the names of both types of gram-negative as well as gram-positive bacteria.
4. What are the drugs that this strain is resistant to?
5. The name of the bacteria should be in italics throughout the manuscript.
6. What is the most effective strategy that this study can determine to address the bacterium problem?
7. The table legends must be explained.
8. supplementary file is not opened, and activation of link is needed to check
