A useful paper that will attract interest from Health care providers and the facilties. I would have like to have seen a table that clearly stated skills/competencies needed for nurses in Rapid response teams. This would make it easier for groups who were working to set up such a team. The skills woudl be taken from the papers you incldued in your study. Would that be possible?

The paper certainly adds to the limited body of knoweldge on rapid response teams and particularity nurse led teams.

Good work thank you

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

A second limitation of the study is that  Emergency Medicine is  not present all around the world, so, educational model in EM are different, both for the ED phisicians and nurses. In the same time, team work, team management, resourses management, and algorithm related emergency action is very different, and personal skills development of the nurses are different to. It may be usefull to extend the study for prehospital environment, enrolling nurses ating în both emergency department and prehospital care units

Response 1: Thank you for pointing this out. We agree with this comment and have inserted the following text in line 598: “Also, Emergency Medicine is not present in all countries around the world, hence, EM educational models are different, both for the ED physicians and nurses. It may be useful to extend the study to the prehospital environment, enrolling nurses that have a role in both the ED and prehospital care units” It is highlighted in the text.
