Publisher's Notice: Chemistry—An International Journal

MDPI is launching Chemistry—An International Journal. As a chemist, I know there are two very successful journals published by Wiley: Chemistry—A European Journal (ISSN 0947-6539) and Chemistry—An Asian Journal (ISSN 1861-4728). The one word title “Chemistry” is available for use as a journal title and adds to our list of field-based titles, which already includes Biology, Physics, and Mathematics.

MDPI has run several chemistry titles with Molecules (ISSN 1420-3049) and the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS) (ISSN 1422-0067) as two of our most prominent journals [1,2]. Molecules covers mainly the topics of synthetic organic and natural product chemistry. IJMS has molecular biology as its main field of research. We would like to continue to provide our high quality and fast publishing service to chemistry research communities worldwide through Chemistry. It will publish all high quality papers from any chemistry-related topic. We invite authors to take advantage of the opportunity to publish in the journal.

Finally, we are pleased that Prof. Dr. Edwin C. Constable from the University of Basel, Switzerland will serve as the Editor-in-Chief and assume leadership of the journal.
