Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

  1. Please check for spelling errors, typos, capitalizations such as in Ln 29, 49, 52, 53
  2. The case study provides a good summary for diagnostic clinical markers as well as treatment options

Author Response

We thank the reviewer for pointing this out. We have revised the spelling errors, typos and capitalizations as suggested.

Reviewer 2 Report

Investigators presented a 15 year’s old girl with Sotos Syndrome presenting pre-tamponed pericardial effusion during SARS-CoV-2, speculating a possible predisposition role of this genetic disorder in the occurrence of more severe cardiac MIS-C.  They discussed the possible direct role of SARS-CoV-2 virus in these patients, or an overexpressed inflammatory response. They underlined the importance of an active surveillance in Sotos syndrome, considering that a worse pathogenic mechanism might be present.
