A Feature Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

We are pleased to announce that Kidney and Dialysis (ISSN: 2673-8236) was selected for coverage in the Scopus indexing database in May 2024. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all of the authors, reviewers, and editors who have contributed to the journal and helped us to accomplish this achievement.
Kidney and Dialysis is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal devoted to publishing articles on all aspects of the kidney. The journal focuses on normal kidney function and kidney disease, the preservation of kidney health, and the treatment of kidney disease, from diet and medication to renal replacement therapy (dialysis and kidney transplantation). The journal also publishes research related to systemic conditions that affect the kidneys, such as diabetes and autoimmune diseases, and systemic diseases that occur as a result of kidney disease, such as renal osteodystrophy and hypertension. Papers reporting new methods and technologies for kidney function and disease diagnosis are welcome as well.
