ISPRS, EARSeL and DGPF are proud to announce the Joint Istanbul Workshop—Topographic Mapping from Space, which is dedicated to Dr. Karsten Jacobsen for his 80th birthday. Dr. Jacobsen is one of the leading scientists in the field of mapping, but is also known for his human characteristics. He has contributed to the development of researchers across the globe.
