Short Biography Dr. Kok Hoe Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM). He also serves as the lead for the Carbon Neutrality Research Group (CNRG). He obtained his B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2010, 2013, and 2019, respectively. In 2018, he conducted a research internship at École Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada, under the Canada-ASEAN scholarship. Before joining the UoSM, Dr. Wong worked at the Daikin R&D Centre from 2010 to 2014 as a design engineer, where he was responsible for the development and testing of air-cooled rooftop packaged air conditioning units. His research focuses on wind energy, particularly vertical-axis wind turbines, and product design. Dr. Wong and his research team have won several special and gold awards at invention and innovation expos, including PECIPTA, MTE, EINIX, IIDEX, the National Intellectual Property Award, and a WIPO medal. He has secured several grants as a principal investigator, including the UoSM Seed Fund, the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) offered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), the International Grant for a Fiscal 2020 Japan-Related Research Project by the Sumitomo Foundation, and a Research Enhancement Grant from Kindai University. He has co-authored more than 30 indexed journal papers. Dr. Wong has served as a scientific committee member for the International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Green Technology (SEGT) and as the Lead Guest Editor for a Special Issue in Frontiers in Energy Research and Applied System Innovations. He was a Guest Editor for the IOP-EES conference proceedings. He was also a research grant reviewer for the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. He is a member of the topical advisory panel for Applied System Innovations and a reviewer for prestigious journals including the Journal of Building Engineering, Energy, Energy Reports, Energies, Applied Energy, Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, and others. |

Short Biography Ms. Maja Dragojevic joined MDPI in November 2020 as an Assistant Editor for the Geosciences portfolio of journals. She is currently serving as a Section Managing Editor and Journal Relations Specialist for the MDPI journals Drones, Telecom, Signals, and the Journal of Sensor and Actuator Networks. She received her bachelor’s degree in Geospatial and Environmental Science from the Faculty of Geography at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, where she also completed her master’s degree in the same field. |

Short Biography He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience, graduating with honors from Grinnell College, Iowa, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial–Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois, USA at Urbana-Champaign. His research focus was Vocational Interest and Psychometrics. He has studied in Singapore, the UK, Japan, and the USA. |
