We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Electronics 2023 Young Investigator Award is Prof. Dr. Kai-Da Xu from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China.
Dr. Kai-Da Xu received his Ph.D. degree in electromagnetic field and microwave technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2015. From 2015 to 2018, he was an assistant professor at Xiamen University, Xiamen, China. From 2016 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. From 2018 to 2019, he was an Honorary Fellow at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Madison, WI, USA. From 2019 to 2021, he was a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellow at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. In 2020, he joined Xi’an Jiaotong University. From August to September 2023, he was a visiting professor at the Yokohama National University with financial support from the JSPS. He has authored and coauthored over 180 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and over 50 papers in conference proceedings. He was in the list of “2022 Most Cited Chinese Researchers” announced by Elsevier in March 2023. His current research interests include microwave/millimeter wave/THz devices and antenna arrays.
