Atoms 2022 10th Anniversary Best Paper Award

In order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Atoms (ISSN: 2218-2004) we are pleased to announce the “Atoms 2022 10th Anniversary Best Paper Award” for research and review papers published in Atoms in 2022. One review or research article will receive an award. The paper will be selected after a thorough evaluation by the journal Award Committee, and the winner will be announced by 31 July 2025.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Papers published in Atoms from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022;
• Open to all career levels;
• Both regular and Special Issue submissions will be considered.

The paper will be selected by the journal Award Committee according to the following criteria:

• Scientific merit and broad impact;
• Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented (for research articles);
• Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts (for research article);
• Comprehensiveness will be considered for review articles;
• Citation and download rates in 2023.

The winner will receive the following:

• A certificate;
• 500 CHF;
• A chance to publish a free paper in Atoms in 2024.

The winner will be announced on the journal website by 31 July 2025.
