First Editor-in-Chief of Remote Sensing Appointed

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Wagner has been appointed as the first Editor-in-Chief for Remote Sensing. Professor Wagner strongly believes that a professional Open Access journal is much needed in this field. He is optimistic that the journal can quickly establish itself as one of the premier publishing media in its field. Together with Professor Wagner, we have edited the journal's Aims and Scope.

The Editorial Office will work hard to peer-review and publish manuscripts submitted to this journal as quickly as possible. Once the first few issues are published, we will contact major indexing databases to obtain full coverage of this new journal. This will help to have a broader dissemination of the journal's content.
