Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

Bariatric surgery is among the most effective treatments for severe obesity and related comorbidities. Yet lasting success depends on rigorous nutritional management, from preoperative risk screening and micronutrient assessment to postoperative protocols, supplementation, behavioral counseling, and long-term follow-up. This webinar, related to the Nutrients Special Issue on bariatric surgery and nutrition, will showcase evidence and practical strategies to enhance the efficacy, safety, and durability of outcomes across diverse populations and care settings.
Clinicians, dietitians, researchers, and educators are warmly invited to join, bring questions, and help advance an integrated, patient-centered standard of care.
