Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Journal of Molecular Pathology


The Journal of Molecular Pathology (JMP, ISSN: 2673-5261) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal published by MDPI, which is currently expanding its Editorial Board to better represent the broad and interdisciplinary nature of pathology. We welcome experts to join our team and help guide the journal’s development, particularly in areas where we wish to strengthen representation.

We predominately seek scholars with expertise in the following areas:

  • Modern histopathology;
  • Modern cytopathology;
  • Pre-analytical cyto- and histo-pathological issues;
  • Tissue diagnostic molecular pathology;
  • Tissue predictive molecular pathology;
  • Body fluid molecular pathology;
  • Immunotherapy biomarkers;
  • Molecular tumor boards;
  • Translational pathology research;
  • Digital pathology;
  • Molecular pathology training programs;
  • Next-generation technologies in molecular pathology;
  • Agnostic biomarkers;
  • Liquid biopsy;
  • Next-generation sequencing (NGS).

Responsibilities of Editorial Board Members:

  • Pre-screening and making decisions on submissions aligned with your expertise;
  • Organizing or proposing Special Issues on cutting-edge topics in developmental biology;
  • Supporting the journal’s growth by promoting it at conferences and within your networks;
  • Providing strategic advice on new initiatives, sections, or directions for the journal;
  • Contributing to the peer-review process.
