Clean Technologies | Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Meeting Held on 10 April 2025


On 10 April 2025, the journal Clean Technologies (ISSN: 2571-8797) held its Editorial Board meeting, chaired by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Patricia Luis Alconero. Six Editorial Board members attended the session. We extend our gratitude to all participants for their valuable contributions and look forward to engaging more Editorial Board members in future meetings.

The meeting commenced with a review of the journal’s performance in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, covering the following areas:

  • Key journal statistics;
  • Editorial process;
  • Overview of the Editorial Board.

To promote the development of the journal, the discussion turned to the following topics:

  • Further work plan;
  • Hot topics in the field;
  • Some topics that need to be avoided;
  • Scope update on hydrogen production and emphasizing quantifiable “clean” impact;
  • Some suggestions from EBMs.

The current Impact Factor of Clean Technologies is 4.1 (2023), ranking Q2 in the “Engineering, Environmental” category and “Environmental Sciences” category.
