
Sensors 2025 Outstanding Special Issue Award—Open for Applications
On behalf of the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Vittorio M. N. Passaro, the Editorial Office would like to express our appreciation to the Guest Editors for their significant contributions to the development of Special Issues in Sensors (ISSN: 1424-8220). To recognize their outstanding efforts, we are pleased to announce the Sensors Outstanding Special Issue Award, which will honor ten Special Issues closed between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025, selected via a thorough evaluation by the journal’s Award Committee, led by the Editor-in-Chief.
For each winning Special Issue, the Guest editor team will receive:
- CHF 500;
- An opportunity to publish a paper free of charge in Sensors after peer review in 2026;
- A certificate.
Eligibility for the award:
- Special Issues that are closed in 2025;
- Special Issues with more than 15 published papers.
Selection criteria:
The journal’s Award Committee will select the winners based on the following criteria:
- The number of papers published;
- The visibility and influence of the Special Issue, including citations, downloads, and overall engagement.
