Join Us at MDPI Academic Publishing Exchange, 9 January 2025, Chiang Mai, Thailand

MDPI and Chiang Mai University, Thailand are collaborating to hold an academic publishing exchange as part of the International Symposium for Agricultural Biomedical Research Network hosted by Chiang Mai University. This exchange stems from the mutual interest of MDPI and Chiang Mai University in promoting academic research and scholarly publication, which will encompass a variety of topics. The participants will gain valuable insights into MDPI's publication process, refine their skills in writing scientific papers in English, improve their understanding of data visualization in publications, and explore the applications of artificial intelligence in scientific publishing.
As a leading international open-access publisher, MDPI offers a high-quality platform and comprehensive services to scholars globally. This exchange presents a significant opportunity for researchers to interact with experts in the field of agricultural biomedical research, enabling experts and early-career scientists to adapt to the evolving OA academic publishing industry.

Biography |

Dr. Teera Chewonarin holds a bachelor's degree in biochemical technology from the Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University (1993), a master's degree in biochemistry from the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University (1997), and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the same institution (2001). Currently, Dr. Teera serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. Additionally, he has been the Head of biochemistry Department since 2019. His professional expertise lies in biochemical toxicology, tumor biology, and chemoprevention. |

Dr. Juthathip Poofery holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. She began working at MDPI in 2021 as an Assistant Editor for Medicina and advanced to the position of Section Managing Editor in 2022. Since 2023, Dr. Poofery has been serving as the Group Leader of the Medical Science Section, where she oversees editorial operations and contributes to the advancement of research in the field. |

Dr. Krit Inthajak obtained his Ph.D. in engineering and technology from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University, Thailand. He joined MDPI in March 2020 as an Assistant Editor for Molecules. He was appointed as a Section Managing Editor in 2021 and worked as a Group Leader from 2021 to 2024. He is now one of MDPI's Regional Journal Relations Specialists for the Asia–Pacific region. |

Ms. Hathaipat Kittirojana obtained her master’s degree in food science and biotechnology from Teesside University, England. She joined MDPI in December 2020 as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of Imaging. She was appointed as a Section Managing Editor in March 2023 and a Regional Journal Relations Specialist for the Asia–Pacific region in July 2024. |

Ms. Ploy Assavajamroon obtained her master’s degree in chemistry from Thammasat University in 2020 and joined MDPI as an Assistant Editor for the journal Crystals in the same year. She became a Section Managing Editor in 2021 and a Group Leader in 2022. She is currently one of MDPI's Regional Journal Relations Specialists for the Asia–Pacific region. |
