Here we will refer in particular to environmental sustainability, that concerns all the actions that a company can undertake to reduce environmental impacts, such as use of organic fibres, recycled synthetic fibres or from renewable resources; reduction, re-use and recycling of resources (raw materials, energy, water) necessary at all stages of the product life cycle, from production to consumption; reducing the use of chemicals in the production process and their disposal; reduction of emissions of air pollutants and especially of greenhouse gases (carbon footprint); reduction of waste generation. |
