Upcoming Partner Conferences (6)

16–20 June 2024 The 51st Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS) and the 4th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma and Terahertz Science (APCOPTS)

Beijing, China

The 51st IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS) will be held in Beijing, China, in 2024. ICOPS is an annual conference coordinated by the Plasma Science and Application Committee (PSAC) of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS).

The 1st Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma and Terahertz Science (APCOPTS) was organized in Xi'an, China as the future Asian version of ICOPS in 2018, which had a large component on emerging terahertz science. ICOPS 2024 is organized together with the 4th APCOPTS. The programs of the 51st ICOPS and 4th APCOPTS cover both traditional areas of plasma and terahertz science and new exploratory research areas. The conference offers an outstanding forum for scientists and engineers to learn further about some of the greatest advances in plasma science and technology, terahertz science, and new exploratory research areas in recent years and to discuss future directions of research.

The topics for the conference include the following:

  • Basic processes in fully and partially ionized plasmas;
  • Microwave generation and plasma interactions;
  • Charged particle beams and sources;
  • High-energy-density plasmas and applications;
  • Industrial, commercial, and medical plasma applications;
  • Plasma diagnostics;
  • Pulsed power and other plasma applications;
  • Terahertz sources, radiation, and applications.

24–27 June 2024 The 19th Edition of the Coatings Science International Conference—CoSI 2024

Noordwijk, The Netherlands

Is this just another coatings conference? No, and here is why.

For 18 editions, the CoSI conference has hosted high-level scientific presentations with a focus on coatings science and innovations, allowing informal but efficient knowledge exchange and creating many new contacts and professional relationships between participants. And it is all about “participants”, and not attendants, because typically there are 30 lectures and more than 20 poster pitches and presentations across three days! This creates a very lively and interactive “small” crowd where everyone gets to talk to each other. CoSI participants have lunch and dinner together, engage in social activities, have extensive discussions during long breaks, and altogether make a cohesive group where interactions are maximized.

Thanks to this, CoSI has become a reference for the coatings community as it provides a yearly international platform for researchers and scientists, formulators, designers and industry/academic policymakers to exchange the latest developments in their coating-related work and disciplines. We have highlight talks from academia, innovative presentations from industry, and poster pitches from young researchers. Furthermore, we deliver the annual Science, Innovation, and Creativity Awards. You do not want to miss your chance to be a CoSI insider, do you?

More information about the conference and sponsorships can be found on our website:  http://www.coatings-science.com

We look forward to meeting you at CoSI 2024 at the north seaside resort in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, next June!

Catarina Esteves

CoSI Conference Chair
