Dear Colleagues,
The development of synergies among different classes of materials provides the ability to attain properties and applications where the monolithic approach fails. The development of composite materials with specific and unique properties can go further if the nano dimension is considered during the development of such materials. The main objective of this Special Issue is the publication of research papers and reviews where the main focus is the real application of nanocomposite materials in the biomedical field. Recent developments on the production, characterization, and properties of “Advanced Metal Nanocomposites for Biomedical Applications”, especially those where the metallic material plays an important role within the specific application—either as matrix or reinforcement—are welcome.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Metals is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
