Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Eurasia 15—the Eurasia Conference on Chemical Sciences (EuAsC2S-15), will be held at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering Sapienza University of Rome, 5–8, September, 2018. This is the 15th Eurasia conference and it will cover all branches of modern chemistry, bringing together leading chemists and young scientists to exchange scientific chemical information. The conference link is http://www.eurasia2018.org/rome/.

This Special Issue is expected to select excellent papers both from, and out of, Eurasia 15. Topics are listed as follows, but topics are not limited to this list:

(1) Inorganic Chemistry:
Chemistry that deals with the structure and interactions between inorganic compounds;

(2) Organic, Biological and Medicinal Chemistry:
Chemistry of carbon and living things, chemistry as it applies to pharmacology and medicine;

(3) Agrochemistry and Food Chemistry:
Chemistry for agricultural production and food processing;

(4) Environmental and Green Chemistry:
Chemistry concerning processes and products for environmental remediation, eliminate or reduce the use or release of hazardous substances;

(5) Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products in Medicinal Chemistry:
Involved with design, chemical synthesis and development for market of pharmaceutical agents, or bio-active molecules, extraction of natural compounds to be used as drugs;

(6) Physical Chemistry, Photochemistry, Photochemistry, Electrochemistry, Spectroscopy, Thermochemistry:
Chemistry that applies physics to the study of chemistry, chemistry that involves the study of chemical reactions in a solution at the interface between an ionic conductor and an electrical conductor, chemistry concerned with interactions between light and matter, chemistry that examines the interactions between matter and electromagnetic radiation as a function of wavelength, thermal effects of chemical reactions and the thermal energy exchange between processes;

(7) Theoretical and Combinatorial Chemistry:
Calculations to explain or make predictions about chemical phenomena, computer simulation of molecules and reactions between molecules;

(8) Analytical Chemistry:
Chemistry studying the properties of materials or developing tools to analyse materials;

(9) Chemical Engineering:
Practical application of chemistry to solve problems;

(10) Chemistry for NanoNanomaterials and Nanostructured Materials: Synthesis, Modeling, Characterization and Applications:
Recent advances about the chemistry contribution to this highly interdisciplinary research field to realize reliable processing and tailoring of morphology, structure and properties;

(11) Chemistry of biomaterials:
Recent developments of organic and inorganic thin films and coatings to design, stimulate new ideas, provide promising solutions, as well as discuss fundamental and applied topics in biomaterials.

We cordially invite researchers to contribute to this Special Issue. The article may be either original researches or reviews. There is no restriction on length.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2400 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
