Summary

Write It Right is a comprehensive, research-informed guide designed to support researchers in planning, conducting, writing, and publishing scholarly research. The book offers an integrated pathway from foundational research thinking (topic development, research questions, and proposals) through methodological decision-making (research philosophy, design, sampling, data collection, validity/reliability, and data analysis) to academic writing and dissemination (thesis structure, chapter-by-chapter writing, journal article structuring, thesis-to-article transformation, editing, formatting, and the publishing process). The book is written for a broad academic readership, including: postgraduate students (Master’s and early PhD) preparing proposals, theses, and journal manuscripts; senior undergraduate students undertaking research projects, capstones, or honours theses; early-career researchers seeking guidance in designing studies, writing academically, and publishing research; and instructors and supervisors teaching research methodology, academic writing, thesis development, and publication skills.
