Dear Colleagues,
Quantum states of matter are hot topics in physics and material science communities. Over the past few decades, special attention has been paid to compounds with unconventional topological states, such as topological insulators, topological semimetals, topological superconductors, topological phonons, topological catalysts, and so on.
This research topic aims to offer different perspectives and collect articles that focus on unconventional topological materials, and show their novel properties. The Editors and Reviewers of this research topic will guarantee a fast, but fair, peer-to-peer review procedure, to provide society with reliable scientific information. High-quality original research and review articles in this field are all welcome for submission to this research collection.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Materials is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
