What policies does MDPI Books have on reviewer invitations?
Neutral reviewing is a requirement for most funding agencies.
In order for someone to be invited to be a reviewer, the following requirements must be met:
A neutral reviewer is defined as
- not belonging to the same affiliation as the author/s;
- not having published with the author/s in the last five years; and
- having the necessary expertise, i.e., minimum of 3 topic-relevant publications in the last 5 years.
