Does MDPI provide support with the manuscript formatting?
Our in-house assistant editors provide support during the whole manuscript process, which includes manuscript formatting. The extent to which support can be provided depends on the agreements made in the respective contract.
Standard Formatting and Typesetting will be applied if the MDPI Books template was used and only minimal formatting is required. Regular edit of layout and a reference check is included.
Comprehensive Formatting and Typesetting include major adjustments to formatting and references/sources.
Full Reformatting is needed if the manuscript is not submitted in an MDPI-approved format (Microsoft Word or LaTeX) and must be formatted from scratch.
