Are manuscripts subjected to a plagiarism check?
All submitted manuscripts go through a thorough plagiarism check. MDPI’s in-house editors use the industry-standard software iThenticate to check for text duplication. If plagiarism is detected during the peer review process, the manuscript may be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication, we may publish a correction or retract the chapter or book.
