Can costs be incurred even though my manuscript was rejected for publication?
For chapters: There are no charges for rejected manuscripts.For books: In some cases, costs may still be incurred despite a book being rejected for publication. The publishing process before acceptance often involves various stages such as peer review and editing, which can incur expenses.
