To keep the costs for your manuscript as low as possible, the following criteria need to be met:

• Format: Download our manuscript preparation guidelines and utilize our Word or LaTeX templare. Ensure that the reference list is in an MDPI accepted format (ACS, APA or Chicago).                     
• Figures: Submit only well-prepared figures that do not require further figure editing. Furthermore, ensure that permission has been collected for any third-party figures.    
• English Edit: Ensure you have conducted a language check of your manuscript before submittion. If English is not your first language, please considering asking a friend of colleague to review the manuscript before submission.
