Travel Award 2018 (800 CHF)
The editorial team of Pharmaceutics are inviting applications for a Travel Award for a PhD student to attend a conference of his/her choice in 2018. The nominations and applications will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee presided by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Yvonne Perrie.
Candidates should fulfill the following criteria:
–– Applicants must be PhD students involved in pharmaceutics and biopharmaceutics research
–– Applicants will present their research (oral presentation or poster) at an international conference in 2018
–– The awardee will be asked to acknowledge support from the journal Pharmaceutics in his/her presentation
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
–– CV, along with a one-page statement describing their education background, research interests and a list of publications
–– The abstract that will be presented and details of the conference
–– A letter of recommendation from the supervisor together with a signed statement that the applicant fulfills all requirements
–– A letter of acceptance from the conference organizers
The Award will consist of 800 Swiss Francs and a certificate.

Travel Award 2017
On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, I am pleased to announce the winner of the Pharmaceutics 2017 Travel Award,
Mariusz Skwarczynski, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences, The University of Queensland, Australia, who will be supported with 800 Swiss Francs towards his travel expenses to attend an academic conference in 2017. His research interests focus on development of self-adjuvanting delivery systems for peptide-based vaccines.
