Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
As Editor-in-Chief of the MDPI journal, Life, I am pleased to announce the winners of the Life 2024 Travel Award. The award has been granted to Dr. Alessandra Ruggiero, a junior assistant professor of infectious disease, molecular virology, and anti-viral immunity at the University of Verona, while also having an honorary position at the University of Liverpool; and Ms. Merel van der Thiel, who is currently working as a PhD candidate at Maastricht University Medical Center.
The awardees will each be awarded CHF 800 and an electronic certificate.
With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decisions were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating research topics. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winners on their accomplishments.
