Research Progress in Pediatric Lymphoma

Dear Colleagues,

Lymphoma is a type of cancer derived from lymphocytes. It is the third most common cancer in children. Its prevalence rate is only below that of acute leukemia and brain tumors, accounting for about 9% of pediatric cancers. Lymphoma is characterized by uncontrolled proliferation of immature or abnormal lymphocytes that destroy normally constructed lymph nodes or the structures of other human organs, forming a mass lesion with the dysfunction of the involved organs. Despite numerous research breakthroughs in the biology, diagnosis, and therapy of pediatric lymphoma that have been achieved in the past decades, it remains one of the leading causes of cancer mortality in children. Much more research is required to further improve the outcomes of pediatric lymphoma.

This Special Issue aims to improve the understanding and treatment of lymphoma through innovation, and collaborate with other clinical specialties and basic scientists to promote multi-disciplinary methods of studying pediatric lymphoma. Clinicians and scientists are encouraged to share their cases and discoveries to provide the latest progress in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric lymphoma.

We invite contributors to send original research articles, systematic evaluations, analyses, and case-based comments. I look forward to receiving your contribution.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Children is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
