6–8 February 2011, Corpus Christi, USA
2011 Annual Meeting - American Society of Agronomy, e Southern Regional Branch

The Southern Branch - American Society of Agronomy will gather in Corpus Christi, TX with other southern Region societies as a component of the Southern Association of Agricultural Scientists (SAAS). This meeting is designed to allow for collaboration and networking among Agronomy Professionals and students in the Southern Region.  It is an excellent location for graduate students to present their research findings and talk with professionals in their area of research/interest.  It also allows for discussions of projects across the spectrum of Agriculture as represented byt the other Southern Regional Professional Groups. We are pleased to offer both graduate and undergraduate competitions – students are able to gain experience in presenting research, showcase their work, and interact with other students and innovative scientists from across the southern region.  Professional scientists may also present their research in both oral and poster presentation formats and connect with colleagues. And, as more and more research funding agencies look to collaborative projects, you’ll find the SB-ASA annual meeting, in conjunction with SAAS, provides the perfect opportunity to develop mutually beneficial relationships.
