Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This manuscript reports a stereoselective synthesis of 22-OH-PD1n-3 DPA and some biological assays on it. The work is well written, put in context, and nicely compiled. The chemistry has been performed thoroughly and the supporting information provides all the details necessary for successful reproduction of the work. I see this manuscript as worthy of acceptance for publication in Molecules as it stands.

Author Response

We greatly appreciate the positive feedback from Reviewer 1.

Reviewer 2 Report

The submitted article entitled „Synthesis, Structural Confirmation and Biosynthesis of 22-OH-PD1n-3 DPA” is interesting, especially due to the high availability of omega-3 and their recommended supplementation. It deals with important topics related to the metabolism and bioavailability of n-3 PUFA derivatives. In my opinion, the article can be accepted for publication, after a minor linguistic corrections in several places of the manuscript and supplementary materials; for example: instead of "UV-VIS spectrum" should be "UV-VIS spectra".

Author Response

We greatly appreciate the positive feedback from Reviewer 2 and the useful comment on correct language of how to write UV-VIS spectra.

We have corrected this linguistic mistake in the Electronic supporting information and the manuscript.
