Does open access mean the end of print?
Print can coexist with open access; even ‘fully’ open access publishers also produce print copies and consider them equally important as online versions.
At MDPI Books, we also recognize the value of print copies, and our authors and editors receive complimentary copies of their published books. Furthermore, we send print copies to conferences as well as libraries, and a copy of each of our books is held in the Swiss National Library.
