Summary

The continuous improvement of existing dental materials, as well as the development of new ones, represents a fundamental objective of modern dental medicine. In this context, research in dental materials plays a crucial role, as it not only demonstrates the outcomes of material design and manufacturing processes but also highlights their therapeutic potential and clinical applicability. At the same time, patient expectations and the demands placed on dental professionals are steadily increasing, driving intensive research aimed at enhancing the properties of materials used in everyday clinical practice. While aesthetic characteristics are of great importance, mechanical and physical properties are equally critical, as dental materials must withstand functional loads within the highly dynamic environment of the oral cavity. This Special Issue Reprint aims to bring together and present the latest research findings on the properties of various dental materials and their application in the field of prosthodontics, incorporating both analog and digital technologies. By providing an overview of current advances and innovations, this Issue seeks to contribute to the exchange of knowledge between researchers and clinicians and to support the continued development of advanced dental materials.
