The main aim of this reprint is to report the current trends in numerical analysis and computer simulation in the research area related to widely understood energy analysis. This is dynamically expanding the branch of engineering and applied science, which has significant potential and is of remarkable social interest concerning the ever-increasing energy consumption worldwide. This collection includes but is not restricted to finite element method applications with various recent implementations to deterministic and uncertainty quantification problems ranging from structural analyses through fluid–structure interaction and computational fluid dynamics to electromagnetics. A remarkable portion of the simulations presented here have been prepared using computer algebra systems, whose popularity, availability, and capabilities are still increasing. It is expected that a surge in artificial intelligence tools in the next few years could dominate this research area. This collection is addressed to PhD students in engineering and applied sciences, professionals from widely understood energy businesses, and researchers focused on the application of a variety of computer methods in this area.
