Open Access book publishing is a slowly growing movement. Its more complex and extensive nature compared to Open Access journal publishing means that there's a lack of awareness and understanding surrounding this publishing model.
This is one of the many reasons why we're launching the MDPI Books Blog. It's our aim to become a reliable, topical, and interesting source for Open Access book publishing content. The content we will focus on - such as in-depth articles, interviews, and book features - will inform authors, scholars, and readers about the intricacies of and developments within Open Access book publishing.
