This Reprint aims to provide readers with an in-depth understanding of magmatic activity and metallogenic processes within the context of crust-mantle interaction. The analytical approaches employed range from conventional whole-rock and mineral major and trace element geochemistry to in situ isotope analyses of minerals, as well as radiogenic and non-traditional stable isotope analyses of whole-rocks. These advanced techniques allow for more robust constraints on classic geological issues, such as lithospheric evolution and ore-forming processes. Within this volume, leading earth scientists share their new insights, research findings, and future perspectives. The Reprint embarks on a scientific journey tracing magmas and ore-forming materials from the deep Earth to the surface, offering not only an enhanced understanding of magmatic processes but also critical constraints for ore genesis modeling and future mineral exploration.
