Summary
This Special Issue provides an overview of recent advances on the early and large-scale detection of Harmful Algae Bloom (HAB) species including cyanobacteria and microalgae in some understudied settings, and highlights innovative approaches to the fluorescent detection of multiple toxins in order to develop new environmental management strategies to mitigate future HABs linked to a rapid climate change.
