Summary

Number–theoretic methods (NTMs), or quasi-Monte Carlo methods, have played an important role in numerical integration in high dimensions, statistical inference, and experimental design, as well as having applications in engineering, biology, economics, and data science. This Special Issue includes some recent developments in NTMs and their applications, including various kinds of representative points of distribution for statistical inference and resampling, including bootstrap.
