Upcoming Partner Conferences (1)

30 September–2 October 2026 37th Forum Bauinformatik

Rostock, Germany

The Forum Bauinformatik is an annual event aiming to promote scientific exchange among young researchers in the construction informatics field.

  • When? 30 Sept. - 02 Okt. 2026
  • Where? Universität Rostock, Hauptgebäude, Universitätsplatz 1, 18055 Rostock

The Forum Bauinformatik is an event that was first held in Weimar in 1989 and organised by the professors of construction informatics for researchers and students. In 1990, the first forum ‘by young scientists for young scientists’ took place in Cottbus, and in 1991, the name Forum Bauinformatik was first used in Berlin. Since then, young researchers in construction informatics have been meeting annually to report on and discuss their work. The Forum Bauinformatik is organised annually by a chair or institute of the participating universities in the Construction Informatics Working Group.

This year's forum is being organised by the Chair of AI for Sustainable Construction at the University of Rostock, offering young scientists the opportunity to present their research work, network, and discuss current developments.

We invite all interested researchers to submit their contributions and look forward to a stimulating exchange in Rostock. The forum is aimed particularly at young researchers, offering them the opportunity to gain initial experience in publishing scientific papers at a conference.

For this reason, we would like to point out that authorship is restricted to researchers without a doctoral degree. The authors confirm that this manuscript is original, has not been previously published, is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and is not a translation.

Outstanding contributions will also be recognised during the event, and particularly compelling ones will be recommended for publication in a journal.
